Services Offered

Market Research
We will look at your industry and other relevant industries to find trends, styles, color palettes, inspiration, functional details and ways to differentiate from the market then present a “Market Research” document to you. This document will serve as a guide and mood board for the next stage of work.
Sketch Ideation
Through rapid digital sketching we will explore shapes, styles, functions and colors of your product concept. This stage usually takes around 2-3 rounds and we will use these concepts to down select to the final concept which will be used for the tech pack that is sent to the factory.
Tech Pack Creation
The tech pack explains your bag, apparel or accessory design to the factory. This document shows all the orthographic views of the product, explains the technical construction details, Shows all dimensions and specs each material, hardware and trim used. To get the best quality sample possible extra detail and attention is given to the tech pack.
Supplier & Manufacturer Sourcing
We have great factory partners overseas primarily in Vietnam, China, Korea and Taiwan. Depending on your product we will match you with the appropriate factory for sample development and mass production.
Sample Development
The same supplier that will mass produce your product line will also make all of your samples. We can make an in house prototype if needed but generally it is much more cost effective and time efficient to have the factory make the sample. Once materials and the tech pack have been sent to the factory the sample can usually be completed in 2-3 weeks.
Product Development
Material, hardware, and trim selection. We will gather suggested materials, hardware and trims and send you physical swatches and photos to help you select which materials you want used on your bags, apparel and accessories. This step is essential as we need this information to complete.
Factory Communication
We are in your corner and want to help get you the best product possible so we will assist in factory communication as much as you need during the design and development process.
Bill of Materials Refinement
With each sample you will receive from the factory what is called a Bill Of Materials (BOM). This spreadsheet lays out the individual cost and consumption of every part of your product. Depending on your target cost we will assist you in refining the BOM down to the goal cost so you are ready for placing a purchase order.
Logo Design & Brand Building
We have built a lot of logos and brand guidelines for brands. If this is another service you are in need of we can help you here! It is usually best to have this step done before you make a physical product so that your brand is built and the messaging is clear when we start to build your product.
Packaging Design
In order to stand out in todays competitive market your product will need well designed informative packaging to stand out. This usually means a hang tag, some type of bag your product will be placed in after production and then a branded box for shipping to the customer. This is a service we offer as we make packaging systems for most of our clients.

Frequently asked questions

Why wouldn't I just hire a full-time designer?
Good question! For starters, the annual cost of a full-time senior-level designer now exceeds $100,000, plus benefits (and good luck finding one available). Aside from that, you may not always have enough work to keep them busy at all times, so you're stuck paying for time you aren't able to utilize.

With the monthly plan, you can pause and resume your subscription as often as you need to ensure you're only paying your designer when you have work available for them.
Can I change my plan later?
Of course. Our pricing scales with your company. Chat to our friendly team to find a solution that works for you.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that things change. You can cancel your plan at any time and we’ll refund you the difference already paid.
Can other info be added to an invoice?
At the moment, the only way to add additional information to invoices is to add the information to the workspace's name.
How does billing work?
Plans are per workspace, not per account. You can upgrade one workspace, and still have any number of free workspaces.
Do you offer shipping and logistics assitance?
No we do not offer shipping logistics and warehousing services. Once the product is fully designed, the packaging design is finalized and you are ready to place your purchase order (PO) then it is up to you to send the money to the factory and arrange shipment into the US and find a warehouse. If you need assistance at this stage we can connect you with the right people but it is not in our product offering at this time.
